What The Pho

A Vietnamese food joint is setting its foot in a shopping mall. The aim is to create an up-scale atmosphere, which is also open and approachable at the same time. We examined different contemporary styles that best accommodate client’s budget, time-scale and technical constraints.

A random variation of wooden lattices divided diners from pedestrians and created an intimate space. Murals and wall decorations added more Vietnamese flavor to the ambience. Overall it expresses a comfortable space with touches of wood and other natural elements.
